Automatic exchange of information - AEOI
The new global automatic exchange of information (AEOI) standards are intended to help prevent tax evasion across borders. Nearly 100 countries, among them all the major financial centres, including the Principality of Liechtenstein, have already committed themselves to adopting these standards. A current list of the Principality of Liechtenstein’s partner states and the countries subject to the reporting obligation pursuant to the AEOI Act is attached to the AEOI Ordinance, which can be found at the following link: https://www.gesetze.li. Enter the term "AIA-Verordnung" under "Suchtext" and click on the "suchen" button. The Ordinance will appear on the right-hand side and can be opened by clicking on it.
